Tour Guide, DECk CREW & Customer Service POSITION
The Big Duck Boat Tours & Spirit of the Coorong are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team. If you’re excited by wildlife, the environment, and creating memorable experiences for visitors, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality visitor experiences through:
Guiding small group tours with confidence and enthusiasm.
Sharing knowledge about the local marine and Coorong environment, wildlife, and cultural heritage.
Providing excellent customer service before, during, and post tours.
Assisting with reservations and ticketing systems.
Working across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays (essential).
Working across both our Spirit of the Coorong brand from Goolwa, The Big Duck Boat Tours brand from Victor Harbor & Wirrina Cove & Reservations office on the Goolwa Wharf.
Casual Position. We pay a minimum of 4-hours for any shift. Maximum daily shift 8-8.5 hours. Total weekly hours will vary on tour schedule & seasonality. What We’re Looking For:
Strong customer service background.
Tourism or/ guiding experience (advantageous but not essential).
Knowledge of local wildlife, the ocean environment, and the Coorong.
Willingness to learn.
Confident public speaking skills.
Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Experience with reservation systems is beneficial.
